Thomas Kearns will soon move his family to Salt Lake from Park City to reside. His mansion on Brigham street will not be completed till next fall. Solon Spim has gome to Cincinnati, where he led his fiancee. Miss Ida Marks to the altar, last Monday. Mr. Spiro and bride will make their home J in Park City. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. McCornick returned re-turned home this week from New Y'ork. Mrs. McCornick has been to Europe visiting her daughter, Mrs. Bird. Hon. George Q. Clark, a prominent lawyer of Butte, was a guest of A. H. Tarbet and Colonel W. G. Benham Thursday.- He went to Tintic on mining min-ing business Friday. Mrs. Kervin. wife of the late Patrick Pat-rick Kervln, who was well known in Utah as foreman of the Ontario mine, and who recently died at his home in Virginia. He is now a permanent resident of Utah and will proceed on the lines he has set to develop de-velop the state's rich mineral resources and to invite other capital to follow his lead. W. H. Roney, a building contractor from Chicago, who has secured the contract con-tract to erect the new buildings for the Utah University, will soon be joined by his family. Mr. Roney will probably live in Salt Lake a couple of years, and he may make this place his permanent perma-nent home. 4v E. W. They will take a two years' course at Heidelberg in minjng engineering and metallurgy. The many friends1 of Mrs. Susie Bransford Emery were pleased last week to hear of her marriage in New Y'ork to Mr. Edwin. F. Holmes, a prominent prom-inent Chicago capitalist and a heavy investor in Park City mining properties.
