Show Sacred Heart Academy. Just as there are girls and girls, so there are competitions and competitions, competi-tions, but the one held In the library last Friday morning proved unusually interesting. The subject discussed was "Church History." and those taking part were the members of the graduating gradu-ating and first senior classes, with Misses Myra Kane and Loretto Malono as captains. The rise and suppression of heresies and hierachies were narrated narrat-ed with an ease that showed complete knowledge of the subject. Appreciative listeners were found in Rev. J. Ryan and the members of tho faculty, the former proposing questions and elucidating elu-cidating any point thai might have been obscure. The young ladies received re-ceived well-merited praise for their painstaking efforts to comprehend a most important period in the history of the church. One of the privileges of being a graduate grad-uate was realized last Saturday afternoon, after-noon, when the "lucky thirteen" attended at-tended the football game played between be-tween All Hallows and the Ogden High school teams. Basketball is again in full force zi Sacred Heart. The second seniors have massed themselves against the third seniors, and the results promise to be interesting as well as exciting. Mrs. J. Kane of Pocatello and tin-academy tin-academy pet, little Bob, spent Saturday and Sunday in Ogden, making: very happy Misses Kathleen and Myra, cla.s. of '08. Fortunately the theatre board; were attractive during the stay, and "The Time, the Place -and the Girl" afforded af-forded pleasant . diversions. Among the week's guests none was more welcome than Rev. J. Guinan. president of All Hallows, who paid a brief but much appreciated visit at Sacred Sa-cred Heart. Sacred Heart girls are not to be outdone out-done in bringing their quota to the autumn au-tumn sale, so, in addition to many dainty articles which they have prepared, pre-pared, they will render Monday night a program.
