Show GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. i (Special Correspondence.) E. R. Sims, the popular salesman for the Austin Candy company, is spending a few days in town calling on the merchants. Lew Storm went up the narrow gauge the first of last week. Mr. and Mrs. J. O'Malley are rejoicing rejoic-ing over the arrival of baby girl. Both baby and mother are getting along nicely. Mrs. James Cosgrove returned from her triD to Denver. The social dance given by the young ladles of St. Joseph's church, held on the 23rd of October, wras a grand buc-cess. buc-cess. The supper was served by the Ladies' Aid society, and it is needless tcf sayUhat there was anything better this season at the Auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. George Lander and Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Sims had an outing in the country on last Saturday. The party captured some nice, fat rabbits. Rev. T. M. Conway preached a very elpquent sermon at the 10:30 mass on last Sunday, and we are pleased to see him looking so well. Miss Sadie A. Lynch of Custer, Wyo., Is the guest of friends in the city.. |
