Show The Souvenir-Hunting Thief. (Fronuthe Philadelphia Inquirer.) Every self-respecting American will be mortified to learn that the visitors who weradmitted to the Swedish warship Fylgia the other day in New York harbor distinguished that is to say, disgraced themselves by carrying off everything in sight that could be pocketed. It was the story of the Meteor and the Irene and the aVrese all over again. The courtesy extended by friendly visitors was most shamefully abused by a lot of well-dressed, presumably pre-sumably intelligent people who would hotly resent being called thieves, although that is the only word that truthfully describes them, but w7ho saw no harm in committing petty larceny by appropriating any small obiect that was not chained down, to be added to their collection of souvenirs. : l .
