Daly, who were of the seven original donors that gave their checks for $10,000. They now. VSy add to this geuerous gift $."5,0tK niore, making their donations $15,000. Senator Ivearns and Samuel ewhouse have auum o mc- iuu v,s.s..- aW' more, each giving $5,000. This $2'i,o00, with $5,000 more that is guaranteed by responsible parties, brings the present available amount up to X J-.((). The committee in cliarge of the financial arrangements, and who pledged themselves to secure $75,000, are now sanguine of ultimate success. Bishop Seanlan irives an assurance that with ihis bright ray of light in sight, the sacred edifice will be rushed to completion as quickly as possible. He X X sees nothing to retard its progress, and says that his most ardent wish will be realized when he can invite the Salt Lake public to be present at the open- imr services. All unite in these wishes, because the old church, being too small for the growing congregation, has outgrown its usefulness, and with a X X generous co-operation of all. the burden will be light, and the result, a change from the old to the new cathedral, will more than compensate all donors.
