Show Obituary. DUGRAY. Miss Kate Dugray died in Portland, on Thursday, Dec. 22. " It was with sincere regret that hundreds of friends throughout the est heard of h :r death. Miss Dugray spent ment of her life in Nevada and Utah and no one was better liked and respected by all classes. She was particularly noted I in the early 'days for her hospitality and kindness to tiie clergy, she being one of the pioneers of the church in Nevada and I'tah.. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning from St. Mary's cathedral. Rt. Rev. Bishop Seanlan, whom the deceased knew for many years, performed, the funeral services and preached the sermon which was an eloquent and beautiful tribute to the life and. character of the deceased. . Rt. Rev. Bishop was assisted with the services by Rev. Father Schiooetti. Miss Dugray was 68 years old and a native of Ireland. Her death was that of a sincere Christian woman a peaceful, peace-ful, happy death that was a fitting close to a well spent life. May she rest in peace! DUDLER. The death of. Mrs. Susan Dudler brought gloom to the hearts of her loving children .and to the many friends who knew and loved -her. The deceased was a native of Germany, Ger-many, an old time resident of Parley's canyon and wife of the late Joseph Dudler. She was 73 years old. ! The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon from St. Mary's cathedral. Requiem Mass was celebrated at S o'clock and the services over the body were performed at 2:30. Rev. Father Kiely celebrated Maps and preached the funeral service, which was a well deserved tribute to the Christian wife and mother. Miss Harley, a personal friend of the deceased, de-ceased, rendered the funeral music which was very beautiful. Mrs. Dudler was an old resident of Salt Lake and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her. To her devoted children the tender sympathy of all is extended in the loss of their gentle, good mother. They must look forward to the blessed reunion re-union w ith the dear one. who has gone to the home of eternal peace, to receive the reward promised to the just, by Him who knows every human sorrow, and who trod the way of bitterness and pain, for the sake of humanity. May her soul rest in paee! . IVINS, A. C. Ivins, brother of Ed. Ivins. a former well known Salt Lake newspaperman, newspa-perman, and now connected with the Record-Herald of Helena. Mont., died yesterday at the Holy Cros.s hospital from pneumonia. The deceased has been in a poor condition physically fov - a long time, and when attacked by pneumonia was an easy victim of its ravages. The news of his demise was telegraphed to his brother at Helena, who immediately wired back asking John Hughes, editor and proprietor of Truth, to look after the obsequies. The funeral which occurred Tuesday afternoon was well attended by the newspaper men and many other friends ot the deceased. 1 .-4- SALISBURY.
