Show PARK CITY. Christmas at St. Mary's A. 0. 0$ at Holy Communion. (Special Correspondence.) Never in the history of St. Mary's church did the altars present a more beautiful appearance than on last Sunday. The three altars were deeor-a'ed deeor-a'ed with roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, chrysan-themums, narcissus and smilax, the ift of Mi. Thomas Kearns, Mrs. S. J. Wilson and family, and the ladies of the parish. The C o'clock Mass was well attended. At the 8 o'clock Mass the Ancient Order of Hibernians - re- ceived Holy Communion in a body, and presented an edifying appearance. At 10 o'clock High Mass was celebrated. Rev. Father Gailigan preached at all the services mo:?t eloquent sermons on the birth of Christ. The music and smging: were of high order. Mrs. M. J. MeGill rendering some beautiful pieces. Margaiet Shields came up from the city Saturday morning to spend Christmas Christ-mas with her parent, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shields. f Mr. and Mrs. Victor Youngberg were in Salt Lake last week, where they were summoned by the death of Mrs. Youngberg's father, James H. Kirk. f ' Miss Hannah LeOompte is home from Salt Lake to spend the holidays. John Gailigan came up from the Vity to spend the Christmas holidays with his mother. Dan Gallivan made a brief visit in Salt Lake last week. W. C. Kelly of Grand Junction was in camp all last week on a visit. 4 Matt Connolly and Joe McLaughlin, who are attending the Agricultural college at Logan spent the holidays in camp. |
