Hagenbarth has returned froman extended stay in Chicago, fully restored to health. Mrs. O. J. Salisbury has been quite ill for the past week with lagrippe. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blreu trishaw of Park City. Mr. and Mrs. James O'Brien and the lattei's baby daughter spent Christmas day with Mrs. Mary O'Brien of Third street. Mrs. C. C. Slade has been seriously ill for the past ten days, but is now convalescing. John T. Kergan of The Herald staff has gone to Oakland to visit his parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander H. Tarbet have taken a house in New York and may remain there for the winter. . Mrs. L. C. Hannaman has fully recovered re-covered from her recent illness. Miss Alice Farrell. who has been seriously ill in New York is now convalescing. con-valescing. Edward Curtin. a poptar young man. who formerly lived in. Park City, has accepted a position with Frank McGurrin and company of ihis citv. The news of the death in Montana of I Mrs. Clara Pierce was received here j last week by . her brother. Harry Glenn. Many Salt Lake friends heard I of her death with deep regret. For many years Mrs. Pierce attended St. Mary's academy in this city, where as Clara Glenn, she endeared herself to both teachers and students of the institution. in-stitution. Life for her was not all sunshine, and a legion of devoted old school friends earnestly hope and pray that she has found peace and happi-j happi-j neps at last. |
