Show Jcseph Donovan in Salt Lake. Joseph Donovan of Gold Springs, Utah, was in the city this week, coming com-ing here to meet J. C. O'Neil, a Chicago capitalist, who has become interested In Mr. Donovan's Snowrlake mine at 3ld Springs. Mr. O'Neil has some nining interests in Silverton. Colo., and was so impressed with the showing show-ing made by the Snowrlake that he m-U'ediately m-U'ediately made arrangements to visit tde property. There are now five men ?t work on a 100-foof ledge that averages aver-ages $10 to the ton. with a rich streak nf two feet which Mr. Donovan states assays $1,000 in gold, with a small amount of silver. Gold Springs is near i ne Utah-Nevada line, fourteen miles out of Modena. on the Salt Lake j Route When Messrs. Donovan and ''Neil . arrive at the mine it is their purpose to increase the force to about t iventy mn and start an active campaign cam-paign of development. A shipment of t.ne. ore is nearly ready for the Salt Rake smelters, the result of which Mr. Donovan is confident will prove the aiue of the Snowrlake. It is their purpose pur-pose to continue sinking on the ledge, i nd when the showing justifies it to wpiip the property in a manner which will assure economical production. |
