Show It has been said that the most valuable man i he who, while superior in one thing, is fairly good in several; and the same truth hold;? good in mental men-tal and moral life, as in business or profession. The finest mind is that which, though strongest in a favorite line of thought, is able to run with eas: in many others; and the best moral character is that which, while excelling in certain good qualities quali-ties which are spontaneous, has yet acquired many others in which it was deficient. |
