Show ' SCCiAL AND PERSONAL. I Edward McGurrin, the well known attorney, at-torney, returned Saturday from a two weeks' trip to Boston. , General W. T. McGurrin arrived Saturday Sat-urday from Seattle, and will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. McGurrin for a short time before returning to his home in Grand Rapids, Mich. Mrs. DeF. Kyme and daughter. Miss Harriet Kyme, of Washington, D. C are guests at the home of Mrs. Kyme's brother, H. S. Owens, in East Suoth Temple street. Mrs. F. E. McGurrin was the hostess Tuesday afternon at a tea, given at her home in the Bransford anartments. with Mrs. Ross Bittinger as the guest of honor. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Sullivan of Frisco, Utah, are in the city. tha guests of tlisir children. Mr. and Mrs. P, Connelley. Mrs. C. H. Jenkinson returned last week from Chicago, where she enjoyed a month's visit with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. AV. P. P. St. Clair. The many friends here of Mr. nnd Mrs. St. Clair will be pleased to hear that they are enjoying en-joying the best of health and prosperity. Miss Alice Cashin of Evanston will spend the winter in Salt Lake studying music. Miss Lena Fafck returned last week from Springville to visit her parents. lr. and Mrs. L. F. Hummer were called east last week by illness in their families. Miss May O'Ncil, a charming young girl of Denver, will spend the winter with lier aunt, Mrs. S. I. Goodwin. Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Laramie are now at home at 3S Harmony street. Mrs. Daniel Gallivan and children and Mrs. Anna Conley are still in the east, visiting Mr. Gallivan's relatives. Tom C. Parker, a mining man of Battle Mountain. New. is at the Cullen on a brief business trip to the city. Thomas J. Keogh, the Ogden sheepman, sheep-man, was at the Kenyon Monday on a business trip to the city. V. E. Jeannott and Charles D. Kalding. mining men of Eureka, New, are guests at the Knutsford. J. AV. Murray, a prominent Butte capitalist, cap-italist, is here from Montana's great copper cop-per camp and is a guest at the Knutsford. |
