Salt Lake City, on Tuesday night of last week, after an illness of two days, elicited tender expressions of regret from all over the lntermountain states. The high esteem es-teem in which he was held, because of his medical skill and unfailing courtesy, cour-tesy, was clearly manifested during. th past week. : Dr. Fowler was born in Roanoke, Va'.. sixty years ago. His father was a physician whose rare worth and intelligence the son not only possessed, but gloried in. By natural instinct Dr. Fowler was wedded wed-ded to his profession, which he practiced, prac-ticed, jiot from pecuniary or selfish motives, mo-tives, but for the sole benefit of suffering suffer-ing humanity and the happiness which he derived from its successful applications. applica-tions.
