Show m mm m CATHEDRAL NOTES. Mass will be celebrated in Mercur next Sunday. Services will be held at the Utah Etate penitentiary next Sunday. The members of the Children of Mary Sodality 'held their usual monthly meeting last Sunday afternoon at St. Mary's academy. s Sunday will be Passion Sunday. Easier Sunday falls on March SO. t The week morning mass is celebrated at S o'clock. - Miss Owen of the cathedral choir has gone to California for ten days. Millie, Williams sang the offertory at St. Mary's last Sunday. By special permission per-mission the solo was sung in English at the high mass. It is needless to say that the beautiful child voice made a deep impression on the congregation. Rehearsal for fne Sunday night concert con-cert will be held on Saturday afternoon after-noon at 3 o'clock, at the bishop's residence. resi-dence. A!! those taking part must positively attend this practice. The ycung ladies of the choir are particularly particu-larly requested to be present. -- The children must be at the Theatre promptly at 7:30 Sunday night, as the programme begins sharp at S. All these taking part in the programme are expected to enter the Theatre by the stage entrance. Parents and friends of the children will not be permitted on the stage under un-der any circumstances until the entertainment enter-tainment is concluded. Each child must bring an American flag, and every one must be on the stage at 7:30 sharp. A dress rebearsal for the young ladies la-dies who assist in the programme will be held at the Theatre on Sunday afternoon aft-ernoon at 1:30 sharp. - The magnificent grand Kimball piano that will be used for the concert will be loaned by the 1). O. Calder & Sens' Music company. The handsome floral cross that will be used for the final tableau is the donation do-nation of the Salt Lake Floral company, com-pany, through the kindness of the manager, man-ager, Mr. Mitchell. The frame work of the cross is made and donated by Mr. Ulysses Duguet. All members of the Knights of Columbus Co-lumbus are very earnestly requested to assist at the funeral ceremonies of the late Tatrick J. O'Meara. The infant son "of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Cromar was baptized last Sunday. Mrs. McCovey and Rev. Father Kiely were the sponsors. Benediction only will be given ' on Sunday evening at the usual time, 7:30. Miss Buboltz. Rev. Father Fitzgerald, formerly of Salt Lake, passed through the city last Saturday. Father Fitzgerald a few years ago was associated with, the cathedral parish, and his departure from this city was regretted by all both non-Catholics as well as Catholics. Cath-olics.
