Show GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. J (Special Correspondence.) Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Moss of Ogden, Ftah, came over to be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Cosgrove, and Mrs. Moss assisted at the social given by Mrs. Cosgrove last week. Mr. and Mrs. Moss left for their home on last Monday evening. Mrs. George O'Boyle. daughter-in-law of Mr. O'Boyle, manager of the Grand Junction flour mills, has accepted ac-cepted the position recently vacated by Miss White Allen Dines as teacher of the third grade. Mr. Harry Groves came home from Salt Lake and went right through to Mineral Wells, Tex., accompanied by his father. Harry is in search of better bet-ter health, and we hope lie will return to Colorado in a short while; and en-joyng en-joyng the best of health. The St. Joseph Aid society met last Thursday at the home of Mis. Willla.-.i Brown, corner Colorado and Seventh streeets. There was a large attendance, attend-ance, and th? supper to be given by the Aid was the topic of conversation. On Friday evening, Feb. S. was the ball given by the young ladies of St. Joseph's church. It certainly was a success, and the young ladies, along with the members of the Aid society, deserve much credit for the manner in which everything was arranged and carried out. Mr. E. G. Ryan, who has been on the sick list, is able to be out again, and his many friends are glad his ailment did not develop Into la grippe. The proceeds of Mrs. James Con-grove's Con-grove's social amounted to $3S. Had the evening been better the proceeds would have been larger. i k - - - |
