This ward social will take the place of a ward reunion for this year. All ward members of Mutual age and up are invited to attend. There will be a program followed by a supper and it promises to be an enjoyable evening. Mrs. Alvin Peterson has been making a tour of the Pacific coast for the past few weeks. The purpose pur-pose of this trip was to visit with her children, Cleo, Gwen and Ross, who are now residing at different points along the coast. The school has been conducting an OK teeth campaign. The purpose pur-pose of this campaign is to get all of the students to have their teeth okehed. The seventh grade, is the first and only grade to have a perfect per-fect record as yet. Gilbert Keller of Salt Lake City spent several days of last week in Mink Creek visiting with friends . and relatives. He stayed at the home of Delbert Keller. Mrs. Ingaborg Baird is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Baird. She lives in Brigham City, Utah. Miss Merle Crane visited in Cleveland at the home of Farrel Jensen over the week-end. While there they attended the Sweetheart's Sweet-heart's Ball in Thatcher Saturday night and participated in outdoor sports. She returned home on Sunday. Miss Hortense Larsen is now working at the Utah Poultry association. asso-ciation. She began working last Monday morning. She plans to stay with Miss Maurine Larsen, who is also employed in Preston. Mrs. Vauna Rasmussen visited in Mink Creek and Glencoe with heo folks for a few days last week. She and her husband, Earl Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen have been living in Burley since their marriage last fall. Mrs. Zella Bennett visited in Mink Creek for several days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Bell. She lives in Cal. ifornia with her husband, Don Bennett, Ben-nett, who works at one of the aircraft air-craft plants near Los Angeles. The MIA M Men basketball team is practicing to join the Stake Tournament which begins on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, February 25. The team is under the direction of Dvvight Wilde. , Messrs. Lional and Glen Keller znotored to Satl Lake last week end to see their brother, Nathaniel, who is leaving on the 25th for a Texas mission. Messrs. Loren and Rueli Keller motored to Salt Lake; last week to see about getting employment there. Loren returned home last Saturday, but Ruel is still in Salt Lake. During Loren's absence, his wife, Mrs. Donna Keller stayed in Cleveland with her mother, Mrs. Kate Nelson. Mrs. Mahalia Jensen and Mrs. Ada Jensen accompanied by their sister, Mrs. Alida Neeley of Rivei-dale, Rivei-dale, and George, Ivonne, and Joan Jensen, motored to Logan last Monday to visit with their mother, Mrs. W. R. Jones. Several ward members attended the stake conference held in Preston Pres-ton last Saturday and Sunday. |
