Miss Andreasen received a nice purse after all expenss were paid. A testimonial was held Sunday-night Sunday-night with Dell Smith in charge. A good program was enjoyed by the crowd that attended. Miss Andreasen An-dreasen entered the mission home on the 16th of February. Cleveland and Mound Valley held their conjoint Gold and Green Ball 1 last Thursday in the Cleveland ward school house. Miss Beaulah Walton was queen with Miss Jean Ransom, attendant; Zoe Lou Andreasen An-dreasen and Dorothy Burton were flower girls, with Blain Panter as the crown bearer. Tie follow-girls follow-girls were in attendance to Miss Walton from Mound Valley, Miss Barbara McGregor, Miss Roma Bennett, Miss1 Joyce Panter, Miss Florence Harris. A number of Cleveland people attended the quarterly conference I held at Grace last Sunday. Mrs. Lilly Johnson from Logan visited a few days of last week with her sister Mrs. J. V. Adams. J. V. Adams attended the trustees' trus-tees' convention held in Pocatello, representing the Thatcher high school, also Arnold Ransom who represented the Cleveland Grade School District. Claude Johnson, county club agent, visited grade school last week and presented a show on 4-H club work. Also Miss Beatrice Andreasen, Miss Ardys Andreasen, and Miss Shirley Panter. received certificates ,'for completing their work. Elder Joe Ransom arrived home last Friday night from his Texas mission where he has been laboring labor-ing the past two years. He spoke in conference Sunday. |
