Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Dow Brian came in from their home at Loa Saturday of last week and visited until Wednesday Wednes-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Au-gust Villard, parents of Mrs. Brian. Mr. and Mrs. L. II. Erickson spent several days at Salt Lake last week attending to business matters and visiting with Ivan Ernsen. Mr. and Mrs. F. II. Jones returned last Friday from a three weeks visit to northwestern points. They first went to PorJand, where they visited with Cra Jones, a brother to Fred, and later they continued their journey jour-ney to visit with Mrs. H. W. Schnell, a sinter to Mr. Jones. Before returning return-ing home the travelers . made a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Overfelt, who were accompanied by Mrs. Ted Okel-berry Okel-berry of Goshen, have returned from a tr.'p to McGill, Nev. They were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rr.nsoine Overfelt. Returning they were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Brockman. E. R. Miles, state purchasing agent, with headquarters at Salt Lake, was a Gunnison visitor Friday. Mr. Miles, in addition to supervising the purchase pur-chase of coal for the various school districts, was checking purchases of gas and oil used on state road projects. |
