Show EXHIBITS PRIZE ONION. George Francis, in addition to being be-ing an artist in tonsorial work, is a real "dirt" farmer, and his achievements achieve-ments during the depression place him as "king of onion raisers." Mr. Francis planted a hardy variety of onions during the early season and pave especial care and attention, with the result of a fine return. Saturday, ho exhibited a prize onion which attracted at-tracted attention among amateurs and won many comments. The onion weighed one and one-eighth pounds and measured 14 1-8 inches in circumference. cir-cumference. Twenty of the choice onions were exhibited at the Utah State fair and Mr. Francis received word that his product was favorably mentioned. |
