Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST I Miss Edith Babcock of Castlegate, is spending this week visiting at the . home of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Bath. Mrs. H. C. Calapp and the Misses Dean and Mildred Borg, of Logan, visited at the D. E. Borg home here a few days last week. They returned j to Logan Thursday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Johnson of Delta, came to Gunnison Saturday and Sunday morning they were joined; by Mr. and Mrs. Norman Johnson. Tucker, Tuck-er, salesmen for Chevrolet automobiles, automo-biles, were in Gunnison Wednesday in the interests of their company. Mrs. Richard Miles, and Richard Miles, Jr., are here for a weeks visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Fredrickson, parents of Mrs. Miles. Mr. and Mrs. F. W. McMillan and Mr. and Mrs. Wallen McMillan of Salt Lake City, were guests at the Lavor Clements home several days last week. H. P. Jensen came in from Colorado last week-end and is spending a few days here visiting with his family and looking after his business interests. I Mr. Jensen is running large flocks of sheep in Colorado and he reports con-! ditions as highly favorable. j Mrs. John T. McCallister of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Kenneth Bird of: American Fork, Mrs. Virgil Becker, Mrs. Cleo Christensen and Mrs. J. A. Hor.gaard of Manti, were special guests at a buffet luncheon at the home of Mrs. J. E. Metcalf Saturday of last week. It was a real get-together party for school day chums and the time was spent in talking of "old , times" and visiting. I |
