Show Red Cross Worker Will Lecture Here Red Cross workers and Roll Call chairmen, and all citizens interested in the wonderful work that has been done by the American Red Cross, will be accorded the privilege of hearing some important messages in this city Monday, October 16, at the City hall, when Mrs. Mabel Axline, field representative repre-sentative of the American Red Cross, will give a lecture. The lecture will start promptly at 7 o'clock p. m. and it is urged that all workers an:l a'l interested in the Red Cross be at the meeting promptly. Mrs. Spencer Moffitt, chapter chairman of Manti, has sent messages to all Red Cross1 workers of the coming com-ing of Mrs. Axline, and has assured all that the reports of Mrs. Axlin", covering many catast-ouhies, sickness ar.d the aid offered and given by the American Red Cross, will be of timely and of intense interest to those who would know more of the charity work rvtended by this world-wide organi- j zation. j Organization of chapters and plans I to keep them alive will also be str-ps-j ed by Mrs. Axline. Since the organization organi-zation of the Red Cross chapters many years ago, the results have proven wonderful and the army of workers have achieved a name that ! places the organization foremost in first-aid in times of distress and need. |
