Show ENEMIES OF PROSPERITY. There has never been a time when it was more important to keep governmental gov-ernmental expense down to reasonable levels than now. Businesses and individuals are striving to make both ends meet. Authorities, Au-thorities, public and private, are working on plans to stimulate industrial indus-trial activity and thus provide employment em-ployment for those who are out of work. And raising taxes are one of the principle barriers in the way of success of such plans. Extravagance and waste on the part of officials are enemies of prosperity pros-perity and result from "government in business" in competition with its private citizens and taxpayers. |
