Show Prominent Couple Married In Temple Miss Louie Willardson, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Willardson of this city, became the wife of Clair Tollestrup of Gunnison, Tuesday of this week. The ceremony was performed at the Manti temple, with R. D. Young, temple president, officiating. Mrs. Willardson and Mrs. Tollestrup, mothers of the happy couple, cou-ple, and Miss Beth Tollestrup, were present when the words were said making them husband and wife. The newlyweds remained in Manti following the ceremony and at 3 o'clock were guests at a wedding dinner din-ner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Tollestrup. Later Mr. and Mrs. Tollestrup came to Salina and are spending a few days at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willardson. Wil-lardson. Later they plan to go to Gunnison, Gun-nison, where they will reside for the present. Mrs. Tollestrup is popular in the younger social set of Salina, and is well and favorably known. She graduated gra-duated from North Sevier high school with the class of 1933. Mr. Tollestrup, through his athletic activities, is well known throughout the state. Through his ability as a boxer, he captured the state championship cham-pionship in his class and was heralded herald-ed as a clever ring general in the roped arena. He has announced that he will close his boxing career and become a real farmer. In Salina and Gunnison, Mr. and Mrs. Tollestrup have hosts of close i friends, and all will join in extending i the best wishes for a long and pros-, pros-, porous married life. The Salina Sun.' |
