Show AAA Record Books Ready for Farmer All farmers who have signed production pro-duction control contracts with the government will soon be presented with a farm record book designed by AAA officials to assist cooperators in keeping required information pertaining per-taining to crop and livestock inventories inven-tories and sales. A shipment of 10,500 record books arrived last week at the Extension Service office at Logan, Director William Wil-liam Peterson reports, and distribution distribu-tion to the county agents was made immediately. According to C. O. Stott, extension economist, who has charge of the farm account project, a plan will be announced by the county agent for placing the record books- in the hands of producers. The county agent will probably issue is-sue the books with the help of community com-munity committeemen. When the time and place for local distribution have been set, the county agent will notify all signers of contracts to be present at the specified time and place to receive their books. The farm -record books, which are simple and easy to keep, are designed primarily to meet these needs, Mr. Stott says. Farmers who are not able to attend meetings at which the record books are distributed, should call upon the county agent or write directly to the Extension Service at Logan. |
