Show SUFFERS BROKEN LEG. Nelden Jensen, 15-year-old "son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Jensen of Christen-, bury, sustained a broken right leg Sunday morning, and in a ' pecidiar manner: Nelden and his father were riding toward Mayfield, where they were to get some cattle, and the mount which Nelden was riding shied at a shadow, throwing the two horses close together. The spur worn by Nelden Nel-den in some manner became entangled in the stirrup on the horse ridden by the elder Jensen. Instantly the big bone of Nelden's leg snapped. The lad was not thrown from his mount and he was taken to his home, where Dr. J. A. Hagan answered a summons. sum-mons. It was found that the bone had j snapped squarely and was compara- tively easy to set. The boy will be laid up for some time, but hopes to return re-turn to his school duties following the beet vacation. |
