Show Wife of Musician Passes at Ephraim Advices were received here Tuesday Tues-day morning of the sudden death of Mrs. Edna Fjeldsted, wife of Fred J. Fji Idsted, at her home in Ephraim Monday night at 10:30. Mrs. Fjcld-st-d became the mo'.her of a baby j Monday morning. Complications follow! fol-low! d, causing coagulation. of blood in the lymphtic glands, and death came quiHcly. Announcement of the 'death j hi re, where Mrs. Fjoldsted was well I known, cast a shadow of sorrow among the hos's of friends and : relative. rela-tive. Mr. Fjeldsted, head of the music department of Snow college, and known throughout the state as onr- of the leading musicians, is a native na-tive of Gunnison. Mrs. Fj ld.sied, daughter of Mrs. Ann Grundy, was born at Mercur, Utah,' Christmas day, December 25, 1R!IG. In later years the Grundy family fam-ily moved to Tooele, and it was in the latter city where Mr. Fjeldsted met and wooed his wife, some ten I'e.-irs ago. During her life, Mrs. Fjeldsted was an ardent church worker, work-er, becoming, a member of the L. D. S. church when a young woman. She was known for her devotion and love for her family and to her numberless friends. . Resides the husband, she is survived surviv-ed by three children, residing in Ephraim, Eph-raim, and or." brother, Harold Grundy. Funeral services will be held at Ephraim this, Thursday, afternoon, and later the body will be taken to Tcce'e. Friday afternoon another service ser-vice will be held, and the body will be burred at her home- town, Tooele. . Sisters and brothers of the bereft husband w'll attend the services this, Thursday, afternoon at Ephraim. j |
