Show Grand Officers Visit Ivy Chapter Ivy Chapter No. 10, Order of Eastern East-ern Star of Mt. Pleasant, entertained for the state grand officers and groups of members from 13 different differ-ent lodges at the new hall at the Hub City Monday night of this week. The occasion was the annual visitation of the state grand officers and the festivities, fes-tivities, comprising a splendid banquet, ban-quet, a program and official lodge work, made the event prove one of the best held by Ivy chapter for many years. In the official group of grand officers offi-cers were Susie Corfield, worthy grand matron, Salt Lake City; Francis Fran-cis G. Shields, grand secretary, Salt Lake; Hazel E. Robb, grand conductress, conduc-tress, Bingham; May B. Yates, associate asso-ciate grand conductress, and Effie G. Carr, grand chaplain, Ogden; Ethel N. Ramey, grand lecturer, Salt Lake; Lydia A. Ditlow, grand marshal, Salt Lake; Annie, C. Wall, grand organist, Mt. Pleasant; Louise D. Stoner, grand Adah, Salt 'Lake; Cornelia Hall, grand Electa, Salt Lake ; Lawrence E. Howard, grand sentinel, Brigham City. Worthy Grand Matron Susie Corfield gave the principal address and1 in a few words gave the chapter high commendation for the splendid progress shown. Members of Ivy chapter chap-ter presented Mrs. Corfield with a beautiful brass hand-made Egyptian tray. Among the members attending from Gunnison were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Overfelt and Mrs. F. H. Jones. |
