Show pEMPLE WEDDING TUESDAY ' IS SOCIAL, EVENT OF WEEK j The marriage of Miss Arda Roberts, ! eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. IIow-! IIow-! ard Roberts, to Eugene Ludvigson, of Sterling, and son of Mr. and Mrs. El-' El-' hier Ludvigson, Tuesday morning at the Manti temple, was the social event in Gunnison during the week. The marriage ceremony was read by President Pres-ident Lewis Anderson, and soon after the newlyweds returned to Gunnison, and at five o'clock an elaborate wedding wed-ding reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Eighty intimate inti-mate friends and relatives were present pres-ent at the wedding supper, following which the bride opened her gifts, which comprised a beautiful array of I glassware, silverware, Chinaware, fancy work and household articles. Eater the group went to the Boy Scout lodge, where dancing was enjoyed until un-til a late hour. Mrs. Ludvigson, born in -Gunnison, is a leader in church and social ac-tivties ac-tivties and is well and prominently known. Por the past few years she has been operating a beauty parlor in this city. Mr. Ludvigson has been a resident resi-dent of Sterling for some years and is also well known in the county. Mr. and Mrs. Ludvigson plan to make their permanent home in Gunnison, Gun-nison, and their hosts of friends will join in wishing them a long and prosperous pros-perous married life. |
