It has been anticipated that 10,-000 10,-000 pounds of grain would be used in last year's work, "but before the sea-on sea-on was closed 20,000 had been used in a cooperative way. So successful was last year's drive in the valley that numbers of farmers expressed the desire de-sire to add further cooperative measures meas-ures for this year and plans have been mapped for this request. Mr. Zimmerman Zimmer-man has also asked that farmers arrange ar-range their activities to fit with the plans of other farmers.' No movement of this kind, the official stated, can be a success without the unified effort ef-fort of every individual. Therefore, the best time to control ground squirrels squir-rels on your place is when your neighbor neigh-bor is putting forth efforts on his farm.
