Show i l HIGH SCHOOL NOTES The Gunnison Valley high school closed last Saturday for the Christmas Christ-mas holidays. Appropriate Christinas exerc:ses were held, the junior class being in charge of the festivities. The assembly was sponsored also by the junior class. A program was giv-and giv-and consisted of a reading by Pol-ma Pol-ma Mellor, and Miss Parry gave a "characteristic" dance. I. L. Henrie, representing a "French Milk Maid," showed clever skill, scored a big hit end won long and loud applause. To make the event more like Christmas, each student carried a Christmas present of some sort. The presents were placed in a container and at the conclusion of the assembly the presents were given out to the students. stu-dents. Candy was served to those present. The basketball game, played between be-tween Gunnison and Richfield, in which Gunnison was victor by a score of 26 15, and the Christmas "confett:" br 11, sponsored by the juniors, were pdded features at the event. |
