Show Spring City Joins International Lions Spring City now has a lively, progressive pro-gressive Lions club, the organization being formally inducted as a member mem-ber to the Lions International Wednesday Wed-nesday evening of last week. Gunni son members assisted in the festivities, festivi-ties, and was represented at 'charter 'char-ter n:ght" by Mr. and Mrs. Ira Over-felt, Over-felt, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Edwards T. TIT,..-. H'o-.-l TrVl.o.,-!; Mv and Mrs: Mac Peterson, Miss Helen Watson and Martin Peterson! More than 250 were present at the cere monies, and besides Gunnison, Lion clubs were represented from SaU Lake, Mt. Pleasant. Ephraim, Fountain Foun-tain Green, and the Manti Chomber i of Commerce. Dr. P. L. Helm., Mt. Pleasant, distr'ct governor of Lions International, Interna-tional, an representing district 2S, cm-bracing cm-bracing Utah rnd Idaho, officiated1 at the charter presentation. The program pro-gram of insisting the "baby club" into the international association, took place during the banquet. The large number of guests wcra seated at six long tables at the high school gymnasium, who: e the ccrenion'es were held. Christmas trees and holly, together with Lions symbols, wero much in evidence in the decorations James W.
