Show Mellor of Idaho Falls, Ida., and Mrs. G. E. Rudeen of Los Angeles, were I dinner guests at the home of Mr. ' and Mrs. J. E. Metcalf Monday evening. eve-ning. D. H. Whdttenburg, agricultural agent for the Gunnison Sugar company, com-pany, Mrs. Whittenburg and Betty and Bob Whittenburg, visited with relatives at Richfield Saturday. . Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Larsen of Emery, Em-ery, made a brief stop in Gunnison last Wednesday and were guests of relatives for a few houi-s. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Fjeldsted of Helper, where Mr. Fjeldsted is teaching, teach-ing, spent a couple of days here this week visiting with relatives. They left Monday for Fi-edcn'a. Arizona, where they will spend the holiday? with parents of Mrs. Fjeldsted. LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mrs. N. S. Gregory entertained at a bridge-luncheon party for members of the Wide Awake club, Thursday nfternoon of last week. Eight members mem-bers were present. Mrs. J. A. Hagan won first favor, Mrs. J. M. Knighton, second, and Mrs. B. A. Maiisen, consolation. con-solation. Miss Helen Overfelt came in from the north Monday and will spend the holiday season with her parents. Miss Overfelt is a student at t he Agricultural Agricul-tural college at Logan an d is majoring major-ing in kindergarten work . 1 Miss Betty Villard is in the city and is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Villard, for the holiday hol-iday season. Miss Villard is a student stu-dent at the Occidental college at Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Proper and children of Salt Lake,, came down from the north Saturday and are visaing vis-aing at the home of Mrs. Roper's father, Geo. Q. Whitlock. W. G.
