Fish Creek and Pleasant Valley Creek have now perhaps started to go down, however, large streams were running from both. The reservoir was full. On the 7th of May they were able j to get over into Gooseberry with I their horses. Work on Fairvicw Canyon Road. The State road workers have completed com-pleted double tracking the Fairview Canyon road up as far as the Willow Wil-low Punch. Just as soon as it stops storming it is planned to complete the road to the summit. j Study of Stream flow. Professor Clyde, of the U. A. C, who has been making a study of the runoff above the proposed Gooseberry Goose-berry Dam, has given some interesting inter-esting figures on the flow of that ! stream. Mr. Clyde states that the Gooseberry Creek has now dropped (to 60 second feet. At the highest j stage the Creek carried a little bet-iter bet-iter than 200 second feet. During a j little cold snap the stream dropped from 200 to 100 second feet in one day. Bulger has come up until it ;now carries 35 second feet of water, ! and the last few days it has been steadily increasing in size. Profes-: Profes-: sor Clyde will know within a short time the approximate flow from the high water in Gooseberry and Bulger. Bul-ger. '. Schofield Dam. On May 23rd and 21th Messrs. Humphrey and Van Boskirk made a trip to Clear Creek to make inquiry as to the outlook for a timber sale for mine , props and saw timber. Piacically all the props at Clear Creek have been used. The Winter-quarters Winter-quarters and Mud Creek mines av shut down, which will reduce the number of props needed.
