Martin Peterson, the auto dealer, spent the early days of the week in Emery county. Mrs. Harriett Cliff, Mt Pleasant, s;ent Tuesday in Gunnison as the guest of her niece, Mrs. J. W. Duf-fin. Duf-fin. J. R. Loftus, division trainmaster for Denver & Rio Grande, spent Tuesday in Gunnison in the interests of his company. C. E. Ferre and Miss Rhea Ferre, motored to Salt Lake Sunday morning. morn-ing. They visited with relatives during Sunday and returned home Monday. Mrs. Flora Montgomery of Salt Lake, is expected from the north today. Kearns charmingly entertained for twenty-five guests Tuesday night at the Kearns home on East First South street. It was the hostess' birthday anniversary and the event proved one of the social events of the week. Chas. P. Peterson, Miss Imelda Peterson and Byron Peterson, spent last week end at the capitol city. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Duffin motored motor-ed to Mills yesterday, spending Decoration Dec-oration day with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George Francis, the Misses Trilma and Blanche Francis and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Childs, spent Decoration day at Levan. Frank Peterson, manager for the Palisade Park company, with headquarters head-quarters at Manti, was a business visitor to Gunnison Tuesday. Miss Tillie Larson, who had been ' absent at Salt Lake for the past two months, returned to her home in Gunnison Saturday. Mrs. Moroni Jensen, Mrs. W. S. Roper and Jake Ernsten, came down I from Salt Lake Tuesday and were j guests at the home of Mrs. Jacob i Bastian Decoration day. Mr. and Mrs. George Halversom formerly well known Gunnison resi- ! dents, but who have made Salt Lake City their home for the past few years, were in the city yesterday, , They came down Tuesday evening i spending the night at the O.
