Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Modeen and Mrs. Elizabeth Peterson were visiting with friends and relatives at Ephraim Sunday. Miss Arda Roberts attended a demonstration dem-onstration on the latest permanent waving', marcelling, finger waving and other features of hair dressing for ladies at Manti Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Peery are leaving leav-ing for Salt Lake Saturday, where i they will spend a few days visiting ' with Mrs. Mary Peery, mother of Mrs. ! Peery. They will also attend to some j business matters while north. I J Ernest Halverson, the insurance writer, with headquarters at Provo, was a Gunnison visitor Wednesday. Mr. Ilalverson was visiting with his parents and incidentally looking after his clientile. Misses Julia Hagan and Vera Parnin, Par-nin, who are visiting here from Los Angeles, motored to Salt Lake Wednesday Wed-nesday morning. They will be house guests of Mrs. Mary Madsen for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Babcock, Mr. and Mrs. M. Deangeles and daughters, daugh-ters, Lola and Jean, of Castlegate, wore week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. II. Path. Harry Schultz, manager of the Peerless Barber Supply company, Salt Lake, and Mrs. Schultz, were here Tuesday. They were puests of Geo. Francis during their brief stay. 1 Miss Alva Gates of Cedar City, is here and is .spending several days with her grandmother, Mrs. Yetta Sorenson. |
