Show S. S. Convention Largely Attended The Latter Day Saints church Sunday school convention, held at the high school building last- Sunday, , was well attended, representatives from the north and south Sanpete, north and south Sevier, and Gunni-' Gunni-' son and Sevier, being present. Apostle Stephen L. Richards of Salt Lake, was present and conducted the various var-ious sessions. Apostle Ricchards gave some splendid talks andd illustrations illus-trations on Sunday school work and urged for a larger attendance. 1 Forenoon sessions were occupied ; by a meeting of stake presidents, I members of stake president's coun-. cils, bishops and councilors, Sunday : school stake superintendents and members of boards. The afternoon session consisted of departmental , meetings under the leadership of A. j H. Riser, general secretary; Tracy I. , Cannon, George M. Cannon, Charles J. Ross, Lucy Gedge Sperry, Robert E. Ludd, J. Percy Goddard, A. E. Bowen and others. The visiting officials and stake j Sunday school representatives from ; the various towns, were luncheon guests at the high school, the luncheon lun-cheon being' prepared by Miss Margaret Mar-garet Rawson, domestic science instructor in-structor at the school. Two hundred hund-red and fifty were served lunch. j |
