Show LOCAL ITEMS I OF INTEREST Miss Fern Johnson of Provo, is visiting vis-iting this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Graff. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Swain and daughters, spent Sunday visiting with relatives in Salina. Mrs. N. C. Myrup and Miss May Myrup have joined Mr. Myrup in Gunnison, arriving from Provo last week. The Myrups have been absent for about ten years and their former friends will welcome their return. Miss Jenny Lynn Myrup, who is a college student at Provo, will come to Gunnison at the close of the school term. Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Johnson and son, Bobbie, have returned to their home at Tooele. The Johnsons spent Memorial day as the guests of Mrs. Nina Nelson, mother of Mrs. Johnson. Hart J. Sanders, superintendent for the Gunnison Sugar company, returned return-ed home Monday after spending a week at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Hofheins and children, Mrs. Shearman Nelson, Miss June Ilolmstea-d and Miss Idona Miller, Mil-ler, guests at the homo of Mrs. Ellen Hofhcin3 Rearm for a week, returned return-ed to their home at American Fork Tuesday morning. Mips Aleda Christiansen, who spent a week here visiting with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Christiansen, Christian-sen, returned to her studies at Salt Lake last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Erikson motored mo-tored to Salt Lake Sunday morning, returning the same evening. On their return trip they were accompanied by their son, Ray, who has been taking medical training1 at the University of Utah. Ray will remain in Gunnison this summer and in the fall he will resume his work. Ray Hermansen, a student at the University of Utah medical training school during the past winter months, returned to his home here Sunday evening. He will spend the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Hermansen. Mrs. Douglas Bergeson, who was just returning from a trip to Southern South-ern California, stopped over in Gunnison Gun-nison for a few days visit with relatives rela-tives Tuesday. She will continue to her home in Cornish Friday. Mrs. Franklin O. Bullock and daughter, Arlean, of Salina, were visitors vis-itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marius Jensen, parents of Mrs. Bullock, Bul-lock, Tuesday. |
