Show RATIO H.UiXETK'. Yesterday, Geo. R. Chase, halter in hand, spent about two hours on Main street, between Boothe it Peiice's and the Hardware, hunting his lost horse. That recent addition addi-tion to his family seems to have somewhat distracted George R's attention. at-tention. The absence of his wonted concentration in conversation is painfully apparent. When portending por-tending to talk to you now, a faraway far-away look may be detected in each eye, and a close observer will see that his attention wanders away from the conversation in hand and rests, with immense satisfaction, on that part of the compass where Geo. 11. Jr., is supposed to hold forth, monarch of all he surveys. |
