Mr. and Mrs. liert Willardson of Los Angeles, spent several days of last week-end as guests at the home of Mrs. Joseph Mortensen. Mr. Wil-I Wil-I lardson was returning to his home after spending a week at New York City, where he was looking after business matters. ! i Mrs. June Metcalf was hostess at a family dinner party Sunday, when she entertained for fifteen. Mrs. D. E. P-org and Mrs. Rex Mitchell and infant son, were visiting at Richfield and Salina Tuesday. j Carl Karlton, former publisher of tho Heaver Press, accompanied by Mrs. Karlton, stopped over in Gunnison Gun-nison Monday and visited with the News force. Mr. and Mrs. Karlton were enroute to Salt Lake. . Miss, Loverly Baxter, who recently celebrated her eighth birthday anniversary, anni-versary, was hostess to a group of young fcirl and boy friends. A gfda time was enjoyed during the afternoon after-noon at games, and late in the afternoon af-ternoon a light luncheon was served by Mrs. liaxter. Miss Dorothy liorg has returned after n week's absence in northern c'ties. She spent several days at Pro-vo, Pro-vo, visiting with Misses Phyllis Htr-mansen Htr-mansen and Fay Lund, and later went to Salt Lake, where she spent a day at the state fair. Dr. d. Stanford Recs, Mrs. Rees and Miss Nancy Rees, motored to Salt Lake Friday, and were guests of relatives until Saturday. Mrs. Mary Y. Henrie and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Buchanan of Richfield, were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Borg. - Mr. and Mrs. Bert Eggertsen were at Spanish Fork Saturday. They accompanied ac-companied their daughter, Mrs. Wells Anderson, who was enroute to Rock Spr'ngs, Wyo., wheTe .she will join Mr. Anderson to make their perni'aiv-ent perni'aiv-ent home. Venrl A. Peterson, the garage and Forvice operator, was transacting business at Provo Monday and Tuesday Tues-day of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rasmussen attended conference sessions at Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday. They returned re-turned home late Sunday. Bishop Hyrum Christiansen and C. II. Childs motored to Salt L;ike Thursday of last week. They attended attend-ed several sessions of the semi-annual conference and attended the state fair. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Broderick and daughter of Emery, were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Larsen Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. BToderick were returning to their home after having -spent a week attending conference sessions and the state fair at Salt Lake City. m m Mr9. Dean Bawden and young son, who spent a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Francis, returned re-turned to Salt Lake Tuesday. Mrs. Ben Childs and daughter of Marys-vale, Marys-vale, who was also a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Francis last week-end, returned re-turned to their home Sunday. . Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Funk of Shoshone, Sho-shone, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Larson of Ely, Nev., are at Center-field, Center-field, having been called there on account ac-count of the death of Andrew H. Bogh. |
