Show j LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST i , Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Roylance, formerly for-merly operators of the Gunnison cafe, are at Salt Lake this week, enjoying i a well-earned vacation. Miss Bathea Embley, who is taking a training course at a Salt Lake hospital, hos-pital, spent last week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. E. Embley. Misses Helen Overfelt, Julia and Helen Hagan, motored to Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant Sunday and spent the day visiting visit-ing with friends. The young ladies graduated from Wasatch academy. .Mr. and Mrs. .Lloyd Petty, Mrs.-J. A. Hagan and the Misses Julia and Helen Hagan, wore motor travelers north Wednesday. They will be absent j until Friday, and while away will i visit at Salt Lake, Bingham and Mid- vale. Mr. and Mrs. June Metcalf, William Metcalf and Mrs. Joe Mortensen spent Monday of this week looking after business matters at Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. S. Peterson has gone to Grand Junction, where she will spend a month or more visiting with her daughters, Mrs. John Spratt and Vrs. Vada Titcomb. Frank J. Kirby, electrical engineer at Winnipeg, Canada, and Earl Arnold Arn-old of Salt Lake, were week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leland J. Arnold at Spear jiint. I Ray Dyreng, the banker, and Wil-ford Wil-ford Wintch, the sheepman,,, both of Manti, were here Monday' arid Tuesday Tues-day of this week. They were in conference con-ference with officials and lanil owners own-ers of the South Sanpete Drainage district. |
