Show Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Kidman and Clinton Kjar, were at Fillmore for a few days last week. Kidman and Kjar were inspecting a shipment of potatoes pota-toes that went from the fields near Fillmore.' Mrs.Edd. Jensen was the guest of her mother, Mrs. Eva C. Mellor, at Manti Monday arid Tuesday of this week. Mrs. Mellor will spend the winter win-ter months in California.': Mrs. B. A. Madsen and Mrs. A. M. Peterson were hostesses at a well-appointed well-appointed luncheon-bridge party at the spacious dining room at. the Wistaria Wis-taria Wednesday afternoon. The affair af-fair was one of the real social events of the week. Preceding card playing, a delicious luncheon was served, the twenty-four guests being seated at small tables. Mrs. J. E. Metcalf was hostess at a birthday anniversary party Friday of last week. She entertained for Mrs. Hyrum Fredriekson, who celebrated her birthday : Friday, at a dinner party, served to 12 guests at high noon, and at 3' o'clock in the afternoon after-noon Miss Lillie Jean entertained for 17 little friends. Hallowe'en coloring effects were used as decoration. |
