Show Fishlake Chosen For July Meeting An elaborate program, involving many reports and studies of several projects in many of the counties in Southern Utah, will be a feature of the July meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, to be held at Fishlake Saturday, July 14. According to H. M. Rasmussen, secretary sec-retary of the organization, the business busi-ness session will start promptly at 3 o'clock p. m., and reports from the various committees will be heard and a round-table discussion will follow. Important among the committee re-j re-j ports will be roads and highways; the ' Kiabab forest; gasoline tax distribu-! distribu-! tion ; Wayne Wonderland, and the j Dixie Dairying and Development pro-! pro-! ject Other matters of importance that will be taken up at the Saturday meeting will be the consideration of the request of Iron county for a project pro-ject on road No. 14; Sanpete county's request for state tax commission's demand for sales tax on electric and water collections. In as much as the famed Fishlake resort offers a splendid place for the meeting, being high in the mountains and with temperatures much lower than at any valley place, it is expected expect-ed a large membership and others will be in attendance. Following the business busi-ness sessions, a banquet will be enjoyed en-joyed at 7 p. m., and dancing will start at 9 p. m. |
