Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Miss Lucile Modeen spent a few days at Richfield this week, and was a house guest of MLss Pauline Winkle. Mrs. M. M. Duggins, Mrs. Oscar Tolck and Farlund Nielson combined business with pleasure at Salt Lake Thursday and Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Nielson and children of Richfield, spent the weekend week-end in this city as guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gribble. Mr. and Mrs. Theron dinger announce an-nounce the birth of a baby girl at their home last Saturday morning. Mrs. dinger, formerly Billy Peterson, and prominent in social circles, and her daughter are doing splendidly. Mrs. Vearl Peterson entertained twelve lady friends Monday of this week at an evening of bridge. High score honors at the game went to Mrs. Nurman Johnson, and second high was taken by Mrs. Eugene Ludvigson. Mrs. Peterson served a tasty luncheon lunch-eon to the guests at eleven o'clock. A. M. Mellor, prominent sheep raiser, was here on business matters the first of the week. Thelma Willardson, who has been visiting the past ten days with relatives rela-tives here, has returned to Salt Lake City, where she has employment. w Miss Hazel Nelson left for Salt Lake City Monday evening, where she will spend several days visiting with relatives and friends. Jacob Foote, who spent a three-week three-week vacation visiting with his children at Huntington and other Emery county communities, returned to his home in Gunnison Wednesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Mina Beauregard hae returned from Paragonah, where they spent the Fourth of July with Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Robinson, parents of Mrs. Beauregard. Mrs. Robinson, who had been a guest of her daughter daugh-ter here for some time, accompanied the group to Paragonah. |
