Three of the cows are fresh and are ready for service, thus assuring as-suring the purchaser of immediate returns . The dairy cows are being selected and purchased by J. ML,. Knighton, who is financing a number of farmers farm-ers throughout the valley in the hopes that the industry will grow to such a magnitude that eventually Gunnison Valley will be one of the large dairying sections of the state. Practically all of the animals have been placjed with fanners and no only are they proving satisfactory, but enthusiasm is growing and it is believed that before spring more than 100 of the money-making dairy cows will be placed at different places in the valley. |
