Show Power Company's Cooking School The ladies of Gunnison and surrounding sur-rounding territory will be very glad to learn that the Telluride Power Co. has been again successful in obtaining obtain-ing the services of a trained dietician to conduct their cooking school this year. Miss Verna Lindquist, who has been connected with the West-inghouse West-inghouse people for sometime will supervise a cooking school in Gunnison Gunni-son on Thursday and Friday June4. and 5, at 2:30 p. m. While the classes class-es convene at a regular hour. Miss Lindquist will be much pleased to meet as many of the ladies of Gunnison Gun-nison as possible who has any cooking cook-ing problems or who would be interested inter-ested in learning new and delicious dishes between the hours of 9 a. m. and 9 p. m. either day. Miss McCaffree last year, said she had never met a more friendly or more sociable group of ladies in all her travles than she did here in Gunnison Gun-nison and was certainly pleased with the attention shown her. She recommended recom-mended Gunnison and surrounding towns very highly to Miss Lindquist, who is looking forward eagerly to the time she will spend here. She will tell you how to prepare different salad sal-ad dressings, cake icings, etc., that are different. Miss Lindquist is very much in demand in other parts of the country and the people of this valley val-ley can feel fortunate in having her for a few days instruction. The ladies of this valley are all cordially invited to attend the classes whether they have coal, gas or electric elect-ric ranges. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Madsen motored motor-ed to Bingham yesterday morning and they will spend a few days visiting with their daughter, Mrs. H. S. Lin-nell. |
