L Childs. who with he'.' children, spent the past winter here as the guest of relatives, will leave for McGill Nevada, next Sunday. She will join her husband at the Nevada mining camp and they will remain indefinitely at McGill. C. L. Jones who spernt the past ten days at Salt Lake as the guest of relatives and friends, returned to her home Sunday evening. She was accompanied by Mr. Jones- who motored mo-tored to the capitol city Friday. Kearns Ferre. who has been at tending the University at Salt Lake, is taking a vacation, according to advices ad-vices received here by his parents. Kearns is secretary and treasurer for the University Glee club which is now touring towns and cities in Northern Utah and Southern Idaho and he is attending to the official duties of his office with the club while on the tour. Mrs. L. G. Anderson entertained for the members of the O. N. O. club at her home last evening at the usual pastime of needlecraft. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served at ten o'clock. Clarence Erickson, who spent the winter with Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Gremsgard, and Jack Nielson, were north bound passangers last Friday. The boys will go to Salt Lake and may continue their journey to Idaho cities. Miss Alda Metcalf went to Salt Lake last Friday and she expects to be absent two months or more. Miss Alda will take a special training at the L. D. S. school of music. Superintendent J. R. Howard, of the Gunnison Sugar company, and Mrs. Howard and Mr. and Mrs. Niel Sorenson, returned Monday evening from a brief visit to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Kearns of Cedar City, were the guests of Mrs. J. L. Kearns of this city last Saturday and Sunday. P. H. Sorenson, a prominent business busi-ness man of Delta, was registered at the Gunnison hotel the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Henrie have returned re-turned from a visit to northern points While away they visited in Salt Lake Logan and other cities. T. M. Kearns, who spent two weeks or more at Salt Lake City, returned to his home the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. George Williams of Salt Lake City, are in the city, and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Kearns. They will remain until the end of the week. George Swain, formerly with the News mechanical force, but who is now following the voction of a miner at Gold Hill, Utah, is taking a vacation vaca-tion and is dividing his time visiting with friends at Gunnison and Salina. He reports his parents, well known residents of Gunnison, as well and doing fine in their new home. Mr. and Mrs. John Amtoft of May-.
