Show -I 1- CENTERFIELD ! NEWS ITEMS 1 1- W. Harvey Ross, president of the Gunnison Sugar company, accompanied accompan-ied by G. D. Skelly, first general superintendent of the Utah-Idaho Sugar company, came down from Salt Lake Tuesday. In company with Mr. Ross, Mr. Skelly spent several hours looking over the operation of the local factory. Mr. Skelly paid a high tribute to the operators of the plant, and complimented Superintendent Superinten-dent J. R. Howard for the efficient way the plant was grinding out sugar beets. Whitmer Woolsey, who has been absent at Salt Lake for several months, has returned to Centerfield to stay. , j Tom Peterson received slight scalds I on his head and neck last week when j hot molasses splashed on him. Oliver i Olsen, also an employee at the sugar ! factory, received a bad cut on his hand wdiile working at the spinners. C. C. Hill sustained two broken ribs when he fell from the box on which ! he was standing. Peterson and Olsen ' were not badly hurt and are still at! their respective posts. Hill, however,, was forced to take a vacation until , his injuries heal. j Joseph Christensen of Gunnison,! gave a splendid talk to the parents ' last Sunday.
