Show County Sportsmen Now Organized The Sanpete County Fish and ; Came Protective association was or-: or-: gani.ed last Monday night at Mt. Pleasant and Mayor Thomas Braby of the Hub City was elected prcsi-, prcsi-, dent. Attorney C. M. Edwards of : Gunnison, secretary-treasurer for the Gunnison Valley Fish and Game Protective association, was named as vice-president, and E. D. Anderson of Moroni was elected as secretary and treasurer. A board of directors, which will comprise a member from each city organization in the county, was also named and Dr. J. A. Hagan of this city named as a member of the board of the county organisation. organisa-tion. Other members of the board arc Dr. S. B. Higby of Fairview, N. P. Sorenson of Moroni and Wil-ford Wil-ford Peterson of Mt. ricasant. C. M. Edwards, Dr. G. Q. Christensen Christen-sen and Julius Duggins of this city, and loyal supporters of the local organization, or-ganization, were those who attended the meeting at Mt. Pleasant. D. II. Madsen, state game warden, was present and gave an interesting talk on the aims and purposes of the associations being created in most every section of the west. Mr. Madsen Mad-sen impressed the importance of creating cre-ating more interest relative the propagation pro-pagation of fish and game and also for a higher respect for the laws regarding re-garding angling and hunting.
