Show SANPETE COUNTY EXTENSION NEWS. Wheat Certification A recent letter let-ter from Prof. J. 0. Hogensen, Extension Ex-tension Agronomy specialist of the college, brought the following good news for the grain raisers of the county: "The Utah Experiment station sta-tion is making preparation to CER. TIFY Dicklow and Turkey Red wheat and will be able this year to give the fields the required inspections inspec-tions of a few days before cutting time. The Extension service is cooperating co-operating with the Experiment station sta-tion in this, and it therefore will be necessary for us to have without delay de-lay the name, address, acreage and probable time of ripening, for both the Dicklow and Turkey Red, for each farmer who wants to have his fields inspected with the idea of having hav-ing the wheat certified if it is good enough." This is one of the biggest moves that has ever been undertaken for the benefit of the grain raisers of this county and every farmer who is interested in this movement should report the fact to his local Wheal Project leader or to the county agent at Manti, together with the facts called for above, and the necessary inspection will be given for certification. certifi-cation. Women's Work Spring City -leads out with a good example in the women's wo-men's work for this year. In a recent re-cent report from the Local Clothing Project leader," Mrs. H. K. Williams, of Spring City, the following figures are given: 48 dress forms have been made which cost $72.00 and a saving of $168.00 was effected. 30 dresses have been made, which if bought ready made would have cost $137.43, and a saving of $78.08 was effected. This is the report to date. The work is still going on. Practically every community in the county is at work on the Clothing and Health projects.
