Cherry visit-at visit-at Mt. Pleasant last Sunday and Monday. Bishop E. L. Swalberg, wife and daughter left Wednesday for 'Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Edd. Jensen motored to Ephraim last Sunday and were the guests of friends and relatives for the day. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Edwards went to Salina last Sunday and were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arley Edwards Ed-wards and Miss Ludecn Edwards. N Fred Swalberg, elected county commissioner at the recent election, was here yesterday combining business busi-ness with pleasure. He returned to his home at Marysvale this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Phelps, who have been visiting for several days at the home of Mr. and, Mrs. Jake j Christensen, left for their home at I San Francisco the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Pace delightfully delight-fully entertained at a dinner party j complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Sam I Hunt of Sanford, Colo., last Monday : evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald C. Norman spent last Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. II. T. Wright at Salina. Mrs. Leon Larson entertained at ! luncheon and needlecraft for the Or- pheus club members Friday evening. even-ing. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. ;J. B. Roper entertained a number of their friends at the Kozi and later at in the evening at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hunt, who have been the guests at the home of Mr. 'and Mrs. Charles Nielson for several j days, returned to their home at Sanford, San-ford, Colo., last Tuesday. Last Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ma.tin Peterson entertained at 'uncheon and dancing at the Kozi in honor of ,the son', Verl's birthday anniversary. Twenty-six guests were present. Blaine Rosenvall, who has been in Salt Lake for several months passed, returned to his home in Gunnison Gun-nison Tuesday night. He wall spend, a few days visiting with relatives and friends. ! Mrs. W. F. Clegg was hostess at a well appointed dinner party at her homo in Centei field last Sunday evening.- A prettily decorated table, ladencd with a nelaborate spread, ' was the feature. Twelve guests were served at 7 o'clock and following follow-ing "500'' was played. |
