Included in the first section is a chapter on Hag etiquette. An appendix ap-pendix sets forth tables of the states and outlying possessions, the words of "The Star-Spangled lianner," the Pee-laration Pee-laration of Independence," naturalization naturaliza-tion papers, foreign sovereignties and their rulers. Mr. Scott decided to write the book while teaching in the night schools of South St. Paul, when he was unable to find a text suitable for foreigners preparing themselves for citizenship. It is the first of a number of Americanization American-ization publications which he expects to publish. Sir. Scott at one time was principal of the South St. Paul high school. He is a graduate of Macalester college. He majored In economics at the University Uni-versity of Minnesota. He served overseas over-seas with the Eight Hundred and Fourth Pioneer infantry. |
